Nicholas Quirke was relieved after his busy weekend, that Monday held little more excitement than some last minute admin tasks like Visas for China and India an tidying. It was therefore, with a modicum of annoyance, that he was dragged into the day by the sound of an electric saw. His investigations revealed that some council tree fellers were at work in Preston Park. This provided him with another opportunity to GoPro play. He was however, incredibly irked, when on leaving the house to get passport photos for the visa applications, his car was covered in sawdust from the branch lopping activity. Should he complain to the council? This was going to require a car wash!
The evening, after a visiting Bernie to borrow a rail pass, was infinitely more entertaining as Nicholas honed his suitcase packing skills. Despite the lure of China he decided against packing his dressing gown.
